The Class of 1980 held their 30 year reunion this past weekend.

Thirty-five members of Class of 1990 celebrated their 20th reunion on June 11-12, 2010.

Lauren Kristofco, '07, was selected from a nationwide pool of applicants to take part in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Oceanography (SURFO) program for 2010 at the Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island.

She will enter her senior year at Allegheny College of Meadville, Pennsylvania, in the fall of 2010. She is a dual major in Biology and Spanish, and was inducted in the spring into both the Biology and Language Honor Societies of the College. She has attained the status of Alden Scholar at Allegheny and has been selected as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar Athlete for the last two years. She has been an All-Conference athlete in the sport of tennis in each of her three years at Allegheny.

Cathy (Bettwy) Breisacher, '88, recently authored her first children's book, Petunia Pepper's Picture Day (Warner Press Kids., July 2010).

Year after year, Petunia Pepper seems to have the worst luck with her pictures on picture day. This year, she promises herself things will be different. This story takes you on another picture day adventure that ends with a photo that is sure to be unforgettable.

 

Congratulations to Pete Naputano, '68, who will be inducted into the Western Pennsylvania Semi Pro Football Hall of Fame at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh on May 15.
