Computers are at the heart of modern life and an essential part of the educational process. To address the needs of BG students, the school must completely overhaul three computer labs at the cost of $150,000.
Science in Motion is a partnership of Juniata College and the National Science Foundation and Pennsylvania science teachers, who are addressing the need for science, engineering and technology in the classroom. More than 280,000 students in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have benefited from the program, including hundreds of our own BG students.
Student athletes will soon be enjoying a new athletic practice field while, fans will be able to order from a full menu of delicious food at the new concession stand at Tom Irwin Field.
Congratulations to Jack Ross who was named runner-up in the Best Actor or Actress category at the Isaac Awards on Saturday which acknowledges high school theatrical accomplishments throughout the region. Jack played the role of Ali Hakim in Oklahoma.
Congratulations also to Andrea Fochler and Danny Ferrell who were runner-ups in the Best Featured Dance category.
Members of BG's Student Council were recently presented with an American flag and a recognition plaque for their support of U.S. airmen at Kandahar Air Base, Afghanistan.
