All students are expected to read and sign the Memorandum of Understanding with the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, acknowledging that Catholic education is a shared venture of the parish community, the family and the high school itself.

All students must agree to random drug testing, and read and sign the drug testing policy form in order to be considered for enrollment. Every year, three to four unannounced drug tests are given. To date, all tests for illegal substances have been negative.

All students are responsible for reading the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown Guidelines for Use of Photographic Images. Students are not required to sign the release, but are encouraged to, as the school is always in need of good photos for its website, etc.

Students, as well as parents, are encouraged to sign up for the text messaging notification system. The system enables the school to send urgent news via registered cell phones.
Once you register your cell number, the school can communicate potential emergencies, such as a snow delay or closing, homeland security advisory, etc. It can also be used to announce school sports scores, registration deadlines and general school news.
Depending on the user's cell phone plan, there may be a nominal fee from the phone carrier to receive text messages, but there is no charge from the school to use the service. The service is available to students only during non-school hours since cell phones are banned in the classrooms.
